Collection of Personal Information


The Center for International Policy collects information directly from our supporters through voluntary submissions. These are optional submissions to receive our newsletter, information on new reports or breakthroughs in our work, and invitations to events and forums.

When joining our mail list, you are only required to provide your first name, last name and a valid e-mail address. Additional information, such as interest in specific programs and/or projects is optional, and allows us to better serve you by providing you with information most-relevant to your interests. All of our e-mails sent to you include an opt-out option should you wish to stop receiving news and updates.

You can donate confidently to the Center for International Policy through our website knowing that we ensure that your data is handled according to top industry standards for online security. This includes 128-bit AES encryption and the latest versions of TLS.

Information Re-use


Anyone is free to re-use the information provided on our website under the Creative Commons Attribution-NoDerivs license (see here).  This allows anyone to reuse our information so long as it is not remixed, transformed or built-upon, and appropriate credit is given to the Center for International Policy. One may not re-use information in a manner that suggests that the Center for International Policy is endorsing their work.
